The National Cybersecurity Awareness Month was a great way to increase enterprise awareness of cyber threats. Below are some highlevel CERC critical success factors for staff awareness:
Congratulations to the 11 Howard University students that particpated in the National Cyber League (NCL) competition in October, 2018. The NCL is a defensive and offensive puzzle-based, capture-the-flag style cybersecurity competition that helps students prepare themselves for the cybersecurity workforce.
Congratualtions to the following Information Systems students for being named finalist in the National Cyber Analyst Challenge (NCAC) in the Spring of 2018.

Spring 2018 – The first Howard University Team competed in the Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (MACCDC) presented by the National CyberWatch Center in 2018. This was a unique experience for our students to test their knowledge and skills in a competitive environment. The HU team was comprised of the following Computer Information Systems students:
